These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) apply to the website VitorlaCenter.hu, operated by: Deck Sails Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság Short name: Deck Sails Kft. Company registration number: 14-09-320749 Tax number: 29042698-1-14 Email: decksails@gmail.com Website: www.vitorlacenter.hu (hereinafter: Service Provider), and to the services and products available through it. VitorlaCenter.hu unites the previously separately operated used sail sales and sail repair activities into a single service system.

These GTC apply to any natural or legal person who purchases a product, requests a quote, orders repair or other services, or otherwise contacts the Service Provider for such purposes through the VitorlaCenter.hu website. The GTC apply in particular to: • sale of new sails, • sale of used sails, • sail repair, • sail alteration and modification, • manufacture of custom sails and sailing products, • repair or replacement of UV protection, windows, zippers, straps, and other components, • sail assessment and professional condition survey, • sail storage, • consignment sales, • related professional consultation and other sailing services.

Buyer: the natural or legal person who purchases a product or orders a service. Consumer: a natural person under the Civil Code who acts outside the scope of their profession, self-employed occupation, or business activity. Product: new or used sail, sailing product, accessory or other item sold on VitorlaCenter.hu. Service: in particular sail repair, alteration, assessment, maintenance, custom manufacturing, and related professional services. Order: an order placed by the Buyer verbally, by email, electronically or otherwise, and accepted by the Service Provider.

Products listed on the website may be: • new products, • used products, • products made to custom order, • repaired or refurbished products. For used sails, the Service Provider attempts to indicate the product's condition, dimensions, known history, and any defects based on the information available. Due to their nature, used sails may show wear, discoloration, repairs, material fatigue, or other signs of prior use. Product photos may differ in color and appearance from the actual product due to the display, lighting, or photography conditions.

Some products and services on VitorlaCenter.hu are not available for direct online cart purchase, but only upon request for a quote. The Buyer may request a quote: • via the contact form on the website, • by email, • by phone, • in person. Based on the request received, the Service Provider may ask for additional information as needed, such as: • boat type, • sail type, • sail dimensions, • sail condition, • repair needs, • photos, • desired material, • desired deadline. The contract is formed when the Buyer accepts the Service Provider's offer, or when the Service Provider confirms the order. For custom or manufactured products, the Service Provider may request a deposit.

For sails submitted for repair, the Service Provider carries out a condition assessment as needed before the order is placed. The estimated cost of the repair is determined based on a preliminary quote. The full condition of the sail can only be determined after the necessary inspection and proper unfolding of the sail. If additional, previously undetectable defects are discovered during the repair, the Service Provider may consult with the Buyer regarding further work. The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse to carry out a repair that is not professionally justified, cannot be economically repaired, or where the safe use of the sail cannot be guaranteed after repair.

For custom-sized sails, sailing products, bags, covers, or other items, the Buyer and the Service Provider agree in advance on the specific technical parameters, materials, dimensions, and price. Custom-manufactured products are made based on the dimensions and technical parameters approved by the Buyer. For custom manufacturing, the exceptions specified by law apply to the consumer's right of withdrawal.

Prices shown on the website are in forints or in the currency indicated for the given product. The Service Provider indicates the available payment methods separately for each product or service. Payment may be made in particular by: • bank transfer, • cash, • other payment methods provided by the Service Provider. The Service Provider issues an invoice or receipt in accordance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.

Products can be picked up in person at a location and time agreed in advance with the Service Provider. If the product is delivered by shipping, the shipping cost and conditions are determined during the ordering process. For large sails, spars, or other bulky items, delivery is arranged based on individual agreement.

For sails handed over to the Service Provider for repair, assessment, sale, or other services, the Service Provider is liable from receipt until return with the professionally expected level of care. The Buyer is required to disclose material circumstances relating to the ownership and use of the sail. If the Buyer fails to collect the product within an unreasonably long time after the completion of the repair or service, the Service Provider may charge a separate storage fee, provided the Buyer was informed of this in advance.

The Service Provider may also undertake consignment sales of used sails and other sailing products. For consignment sales, a separate agreement governs: • the minimum or desired sale price set by the seller, • the Service Provider's sales fee or commission, • storage of the product, • the duration of the sale, • settlement after the sale, • conditions for returning the product. The detailed terms of consignment sales may be set out in a separate consignment agreement.

The Service Provider is liable for defective performance in accordance with the Civil Code and consumer protection regulations. The consumer's rights to warranty for defects, product warranty, and — where applicable — guarantee are set out by the applicable laws. For used products, defects known and disclosed to the Buyer, as well as characteristics resulting from prior use, do not qualify as defects for which the Service Provider is automatically liable. The Buyer is required to use the product as intended.

The used sails listed on the website are primarily displayed for informational purposes. Purchases are typically made following personal discussion and inspection. If the purchase qualifies as a distance consumer contract, the consumer is entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal without justification under the applicable laws. In the case of distance selling, the buyer may check the sail's size and suitability to the extent necessary for proper use. If the sail is unsuitable, the buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal under the conditions specified by law and return the product. When returning the sail, it must be returned in a condition that allows for resale. The consumer is liable for any loss in value resulting from use beyond what is necessary for inspection, in accordance with the applicable laws. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to in-person purchases. For new sails manufactured to custom size, design, or according to the buyer's specific individual request, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised due to the exception set out by law.

The Buyer may submit a complaint through the following contact details: Email: decksails@gmail.com The Service Provider investigates the complaint and responds within the deadline specified by law. The consumer may also turn to the consumer protection authority or the conciliation board with their complaint, in accordance with applicable laws.

The Service Provider is not liable for damages resulting from improper use of the product, unprofessional installation, improper storage, or incorrect information provided by the Buyer. For sails, it is particularly important that the boat, mast, rigging, and other equipment are in proper condition. The repair or refurbishment of a sail alone does not mean that the safe operation of the entire sailing system or the boat is guaranteed.

The texts, photographs, graphics, logos, and other content on the VitorlaCenter.hu website may be the property of the Service Provider or their respective rights holders. Copying, using, or republishing them for commercial purposes without permission is prohibited.

The Service Provider governs the processing of personal data in a separate Privacy Notice. The Privacy Notice is continuously accessible on the VitorlaCenter.hu website.

The Service Provider is entitled to amend these GTC. The amended GTC take effect upon publication on the website, provided that the terms in effect at the time of conclusion apply to contracts already concluded, unless the law provides otherwise.

These GTC and the legal relationship between the Service Provider and the Buyer are governed by Hungarian law. For matters not regulated by these GTC, the provisions of the Civil Code, consumer protection laws, and laws applicable to electronic commerce services shall apply in particular.
